November 17, 2008I took the kids outside to paint a coat rack thing. Taryn was asleep when we started, but we didn't get too far by the time she woke up. Then she just wanted to play like one of the big kids. She is walking all over and wants to do whatever they are doing. Painting wasn't such a good idea, so we got the volleyball out and yes, played with it like a soccer ball. The one good thing I can say about the helmet was the protection it gave when Taryn hit the slope in the driveway and slid down on her forehead about two feet. Not even a tear with her handy helmet on! Hooray!
