San Rafael & Goblin Valley
April 8-11, 2010
Mario took the whole week off from work and we left the kids with my parents for 36 hours. We drove down to Las Vegas and went to two Cirque de Soliel shows. We originally wanted to go to Tournament of Kings but the only night it wasn't showing was the night we were there. We saw Kriss Angel the illusionist and KA! We grabbed dinner at the Excaliber buffet where we were staying and then spent the rest of the evening at the two shows. It was a blast! We got up the next morning and headed home. It was a quick trip but sooooo worth it!
When we got home, we packed up the camper to go to San Rafael with Mario's parents. We had a great time and the weather was pretty nice. We spent one day hiking around Goblin Valley since the kids and I had never been there. The kids were wild running in, out, through, around and over all the hoodoos! We took the four wheelers and went on some rides and enjoyed relaxing around the fire at night! It was a fun vacation week!
